no, it's a movie about this computer programmer dude and cubicles and bosses and staplers. by the guy who made beavis & b-h (boo). had some crude language but was pretty funny. Fitting film to watch on my day off from work eh.
My dog of choice is a cat. a friendly clean, unslobbery, unselfish cat (they do exist). Or a young parakeet i could train.
Ok ok. I like the Shih tsu. But not with the long flowing hair and NO BOWS. Adorable with short hair. sounds like they need mucho pampering though, which i'm probably not the type to do - i barely groom myself..

hey.
hope you didn't end up staying too long yesterday, fro?
it was liberal leave for me so i had to use Personal leave time but stayed home anyway and watched OfficeSpace.
finally went out to the MALL when we couldn't stand being inside any more (half the stores were closed and it was nice and empty). then came home and made Chili, "smoked" and "chunky" (don't ask).
i've been seriously considering getting the 14" iBook. I decided i didn't need anything too beefy (as tempting as it is to just pay a little more to keep upgrading, etc til i'm shelling out $3k..). And I think I do like macs. As for the money, it may take me a while to save, but i've been feeling kinda claustrophobic not having a real computer of my own.
by the way, did you ever buy a laptop fro?

Well, until i can get my live update and run the Norton scan again, i will just assume i'm virus-free. which is probably true.
but SOME LHF-er (with Outlook) sure is causing quite an epidemic. {nobody open attachments to any random-looking email, even from people you know!}
// By the way, I may take figure skating lessons, with elway.. just for kicks. Pretty good deal, apart from buying the skates.
I just hope it's not taught at a third-grade level (and in a group all three feet tall).

we poor must be satisfied with being
just nuts.

last night on the phone i found out that my computer supposedly sent out a modified worm virus from my hotmail account (picks names from my addressbook randomly and sends them emails with heading like "Lets be friends") - the only time i really use email is at work so it's probably on my work computer.. I was all stressing out and when i got to work did the Norton LiveUpdate and Scan Computer for Viruses but nothing turned up in the scan.. does that mean that i'm actually virus-free??
[Must go to Brother blog and ask Mr. Brain. i wish i knew more about these things, i'm confused and getting all stressed.. I went ahead and deleted ALL my addressbook entries :( ]
lunch with do:
a piece of subway turkey sub, one JUMBO shrimp, two seedless mandarin oranges from Wholefoods, broiled salmon, a samosa from Bombay Grill, cup of crab soup, seafood quesadilla, and a can of Sierra Mist.
Free food rocks :)

great outreach/fellowship places, right? Dag, the hardest part is choosing. But I must say, i've been wanting to go to AVAM for the longest time.
assignment 12.
i have to confess that i don't like wiggly, jiggly, jingling things on my dash. i don't like scents and scented doodads hanging from my rear-view mirror. (after car washes i let them do a citrus scent though & it smells yummy)
i have that Tempo thing on my passenger flip-down visor that everyone with long torsos bumps their heads on (it's like a flat kleenex dispenser for napkins), and WetOnes for wiping off fast food grease & ketchup. there's a disposable camera in my glove compartment (for when you're on the road and see something you really want a picture of -- i've pulled over three times for clouds/sunsets so far; or for car accidents i suppose). and finally, ghetto "seat covers" (pieces of cloth) in my trunk, for my seats that get burning hot in the summer when the sun hits the leather.
All in all, kind of old manish, huh? But that's ok, that's why mr. ralphie is mr. ralphie.
// i am such a candy addict. currently in my desk drawer i have a 1/2 pound box of Mike & Ikes which i am happily munching away on. it's all about original fruit flavors, chewy or hard (but chewy's better).. lime, orange, cherry (and even lemon), sour apple, grape. or sour fruits... SourPatch Kids. mmm.
// you know Bill Maher, from Politically Incorrect? I was at Borders and started reading his new book "When you ride alone, you ride with bin Laden." One reviewer said, "Maher is both an idiot & a genius. Buy the book anyway," which i have to say is pretty on-the-mark.. but he's also hilarious. I couldn't help myself from cracking up out loud like a fool, sitting there on the couches in the Art section. Anyway, one thing that stuck out was how americans really aren't informed enough about the importance of reducing our dependence on foreign oil, and it's really made me think twice about wasting gas. [read this LINK] I feel kinda bad about the gas-guzzler that my car is too. My next car will definitely be a hybrid.
[...sorry, that was pretty random & un-dodefro-esque. but i read stuff and it jiggles around in my head and i've gotta get it out :) ]
